It's that time again at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy (OV), as we gather to honor the incredible work of our awesome grads who have reached the finish line of their journey with us. At OV, we love to acknowledge the achievements of our graduates and applaud their exceptional  knowledge and skills .  
Hoots and hollers ;The graduation ceremony at OV is always filled joy and excitement. As the graduates walk across the stage, we hear hoots and hollers from their friends, family members, and faculty, cheering them on. This occasion is the culmination of countless hours of hard work, late-night study sessions, hands on practice, and the triumph over challenges.
At OV it's not just about the students, it is about acknowledging the fabulous support and encouragement of their families, and we invite families to join us in the actual ceremony. it's touching as friends and family share a few words about their graduates,  and share they did!!  There were some tears, laughter, as well as some hilarious anecdotes. 
 OV took the opportunity to acknowledge those students who had demonstrated exceptional qualities in various aspects of their studies. Among the award recipients were Hannah Stanley, who received the prestigious OV Professionalism Award, exemplifying outstanding conduct, ethics, and dedication to the profession. Shy Ree-Hembling was recognized with the Citizenship Award for her exceptional contribution to the OV community. 
The introduction of the  new Clinical Excellence Award was part of the occasion. This new award  was aimed at recognizing students who displayed extraordinary clinical skills during their time at OV. Chelsey Benna, Erin MacLean, and Shy Ree-Hembling were the well-deserved recipients of this distinguished award. Their exemplary performance in the practical application of massage therapy during their clinical rotations  left a mark on their supervisors, peers, and patients.
 The success of our graduates speaks to the passion these students and staff bring to OV, and the comprehensive curriculum offered in our RMT program. We can't wait to see these talented individuals enter the profession and become colleagues, and the leader in the future of massage therapy .
 Graduation at  Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy is not only a celebration of knowledge ( and the end to homework !!)  but a testament to the commitment and perseverance of our graduates. The smiling faces of the grads as they made their way  off the stage to greet  their friends and family made this a truly special occasion. We look forward to seeing your impact!
