Clinical Theory and Practice 500 is a synthesis class bringing together concepts from Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Physiology, Massage Theory and Practice, and Clinical Assessment. Complex pathological conditions, injuries, and stages of healing are layered on while working through case studies. It is a hands-on class requiring students to apply material from every course taken previously.
Responsibilities
- Familiarize yourself with the course outline and class materials prepared by the lead instructor
- Communicate with the lead instructor to ensure an integrated presentation of material
- Assist students with hands-on techniques
- Answer questions and facilitate learning for multiple learning styles
- Input marks and take attendance
- Attend staff meetings and performance reviews
- Contribute to fostering a welcoming and productive adult learning atmosphere
- Submit accurate payroll timesheets on time
The ideal candidate has been an RMT for 2+ years, maintains good standing with the CCHPBC, and has a passion for the profession. You've shown an interest in continual education and want to share the foundational knowledge required to enter the profession. Prior experience as a TA or in an educational support role is preferred.

It is a hands-on class requiring students to immediately apply neurology and pathology information they are concurrently studying.
