No recent science background? Our Human Science and College Prep Course (HSCP) gets you ready for Year 1.
The Human Science and College Prep Course (HSCP) is OV College's exclusive prep course, designed specifically for OV College applicants who don't have a recent background in anatomy and physiology. It's encouraged but not mandatory — completing it before you start is meant to set you up for success in Year 1, not to be another hurdle to clear.
This is exclusive to OV College applicants — it's not open to the general public.
Cost: What does the HSCP cost?
Format & schedule: Is it in-person, online, or self-paced? How long does it take (weeks/months)? When can someone start it relative to their intake date?
What it covers: A short list of the topics/units in the course would help applicants know what to expect — e.g. basic anatomy, physiology, terminology.
How to register: Do applicants register through the same Classter portal as the main application, or somewhere else?
